Getting Around is a Breeze
Boston is considered the country’s most walkable city, so you will be pleased to find that many local attractions, shops, restaurants and historical sites are just a short stroll away. However, public transportation in Boston is also a breeze. Refer to our guide below for details on how to get around this exciting city.
Taking the Subway
The Back Bay Station is one block away and a very easy walk to the hotel by exiting the station, taking a right onto Dartmouth Street and then the first right onto Stuart Street. The hotel is located at 350 Stuart Street. This station is serviced by Amtrak, Acela, the MBTA Orange Line (subway), the MBTA Commuter Rail Lines (trains) of Framingham/Worcester, Needham, Franklin, and the Providence Stoughton Line. Additionally there are MBTA-operated bus lines servicing points throughout the city.
Taking the Bus
South Station is serviced by all major bus lines and is 1.5 miles from the hotel. Once at South Station, take the Red Line to Park Street Station. At the Park Street Station, take the Green Line outbound to the Arlington Street Station. Once exiting the Arlington Street Station onto Arlington Street, continue south for two blocks until you reach Stuart Street. Take a right on Stuart Street and continue for one block to Berkeley Street. Loews Boston Back Bay Hotel[MSOffice1] is located on the corners of Stuart and Berkeley Streets.
