South End: Immerse yourself in the refined architecture of this residential neighborhood, stopping here and there to pop into the numerous cafes and shops along the way. Before heading home, make your way to the North End – just a short distance away – to pick up some sweet delicacies at Mike’s Pastry.
Fenway Park: If you are in Boston between April and October, attending a Red Sox game is practically mandatory. The team has played at Fenway since 1912, making the park the oldest facility in use by any MLB team today. Arrive early to experience the atmosphere of Landsdowne and pay your respects to The Green Monster.
The Wang Center: Able to seat an audience of 3,600, the Wang Theatre hosts an impressive array of world-class Broadway, theater, music, dance, opera and film. If you can’t find a show there to suit your tastes, head across the street to Shubert Theatre for other options.
The New England Aquarium: Located at Central Wharf, the New England Aquarium is easily accessible by car, on the T, and of course, on foot. Check out penguins, sharks, sea lions, seals and more, or go on a whale watching tour for a chance to see a North Atlantic Right Whale!
