The centerpiece of the ambitious 2001 project is the Dolby Theatre (formerly known as the Kodak Theatre). The Dolby is the permanent home of the Academy Awards, has been the home of American Idol for a decade, and regularly hosts events and concerts by the likes of Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé and Prince.
The illustrious Grauman’s Chinese Theatre is also located at the Hollywood and Highland Center. The national landmark serves as a first-run theatre and boasts more than 200 celebrity handprints in the concrete outside its doors.

The development features 75 shops, including high-end retailers like BCBG MAXAZRIA, Louis Vuitton and Fossil, and a range of souvenir shops and authentic California stores.
