What?
With the current state of the economy, companies are faced with tough financial decisions, including forgoing the annual holiday party. Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort wants your company to be able to party like it’s 1999—On us! Bosses can enter a submission for a chance to win an official office holiday party with all the trimmings, courtesy of Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort.
How?
Make us a video of why you think your office deserves to win a celebration this year. Here’s what you will need to include:
- Past: What has your team done this year to deserve a holiday party?
- Present: Create a 3-minute video featuring ‘the boss’ of your company. Post your video to Youtube and post the link to the Loews Lake Las Vegas Facebook page. You’ll need a Facebook account and you will need to become a fan of the Loews Lake Las Vegas page to do this. Then e-mail the link to your YouTube video, along with your company, a contact name, address and phone number to Raquel Sanchez at rsanchez@loewshotels.com. - Future: Judges will view all submissions and narrow the contest down to three finalists. The three final videos will be posted to the Loews Lake Las Vegas Facebook page, where Facebook fans will vote with a “like” thumbs up for their favorite video. The video with the most “like” thumbs up wins. In order to vote for the winning video, you must have a Facebook account and be a fan of the Loews Lake Las Vegas Facebook fan page.

- Only submissions from a top manager or owner of a company located in Nevada will be eligible to win.
- Videos must be 3 minutes or less in total length.
- The title of the video uploaded to YouTube must include the phrase “Loews Lake Las Vegas Scrooged”
- An e-mail submission of the YouTube link to rsanchez@loewshotels.com must be sent for a video to be eligible to win. The email must include: name and title of company manager or owner, company name, location, number of employees, nature of the business and a paragraph on why your company deserves to win.
- Entries must be uploaded on YouTube and submitted to rsanchez@loewshotels.com by 5 p.m. Nov. 20, 2009.
- The winner will be announced on the Loews Lake Las Vegas Facebook page on November 30, 2009.
- The winning holiday party must be held in December 2009. Subject to hotel availability. Black out dates apply. Maximum number of party guests is 50 guests. The party will include one hour of cocktails and champagne, two hours of tray-passed appetizers and a bar, as well as a dance floor and music. No cash value, nontransferable.
- Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort reserves the right to release the winning video for media and promotional purposes as a condition of the award of the prize.
