The Food Network Miami Wine and Food Festival is a star-studded, four-day event showcasing the talents of the world's best wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. Hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University, the Festival benefits the Teaching Restaurant and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center. The Festival takes place February 21-24, 2008.

People from all over the world return to South Beach year after year to attend the Winter Music Conference. For 22 years, it has been the premier networking event, attracting professionals from more than 60 countries representing every aspect of the industry, from the top technological innovators, DJs and producers, to retailers, distributors and audio manufacturers. There is no other party like it. The conference takes place every March.

This important cultural event combines the international art show with an exciting program of special exhibitions, parties and crossover events, including music, film, architecture and design. Located in Miami's Art Deco district, Art Basel works are showcased under highway overpasses, on public lawns and other unexpected sites. The show takes place December 7-10, 2007.
