Huntington Library

Page Museum

Located at the Rancho La Brea Tar Pits in the heart of Los Angeles, one of the world’s most famous fossil localities. The museum is recognized for having the largest and most diverse assemblage of extinct Ice Age plants and animals in the world. Learn about Los Angeles as it was 10,000 to 40,000 years ago, when animals such as saber-toothed cats and mammoths roamed the Los Angeles Basin. Free admission every first Tuesday of the month.

Museum of Contemporary Art

The MOCA is the only museum in Los Angeles focusing on contemporary art from as far back as the 1940’s. With over 5,000 works, MOCA is committing to the presentation, preservation and interpretation of works in all forms of media housed in three different facilities: MOCA Grand Avenue, The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, and MOCA Pacific Design Center.
