"Wow! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. Everything went off without a hitch, and it was definitely more then we expected. The service was 5 star and the food was awesome. So many people have told us how this is the best and most elegant wedding they have ever been to...and I think I will agree with that. "Everyone at the Loews was exceptionally professional and pleasant and they went out of their way to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. Courtney Dubbin was our contact and she called all my vendors to make sure everything was on schedule and she oversaw everything personally. No request we had was too much trouble, everything we wanted they did. they thought of everything! I haven't forgotten about us booking our dream reception for our wedding! (Thanks to you!) "My apologies to the Loews staff for the delay in this posting. I hosted a retirement party for a fellow co-worker at the Loews, New Orleans in December 2009. Courtney Dubbin, the catering manager, was a pleasure to work with - She worked with me to find a menu that fit in our budget and showcase New Orleans delicious local flavors. Courtney and her staff made adjustments to accommodate late breaking requirements up until just hours before the event. The entire Loews catering and banquet staff attended to every detail to ensure the event went off without a hitch. I don't remember the banquet manager's name on the night of 12/09/09 but I want to commend him also. The event space was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers on the serving tables and since it was Christmas season, there were beautiful decorations throughout the hotel. Many of the party goers took advantage of the special lodging rate for the hotel and they too were extremely pleased with the accommodations. As far as the room accommodations - My husband and I have stayed there for weekend getaways a couple of times and this time was no different. From the time you get out of your car to the time you leave, the staff makes every effort to make you feel pampered. The accommodations are well-appointed and the toiletries are high-end. I usually do not sleep well in hotel but I always sleep well at the Loews New Orleans. The staff makes an effort to address you by name - while having breakfast at Cafe Adelaide, the manager and server both called me by name. My compliments to David and his staff for making the Loews a New Orleans gem and to Courtney and the catering and banquet staff for making our event such a wonderful success!!! We’ll certainly be back."
