Every September this week and a half long event featuring religious processions and colorful parades.  The delicious food, the free musical entertainment that reflects Italian-American culture and heritage are all there. The Feast brings the world to Little Italy and Little Italy to the world. (And don't forget about the cannoli-eating competition!)

New York's Village Halloween Parade
In October venture down to 6th Avenue btw. Spring and 21st Street to see hundreds of puppets, 53 bands of different types of music, dancers and artists, and thousands of other New Yorkers in costumes of their own creation in the nation’s most wildly creative public participatory event in the greatest city in the world !

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
For over 80 years every November this world famous parade starts at Central Park West and 77th Street and travels down through Manhattan to end at the world famous Macy's Department store.  Don't miss the 1,500 dancers, cheerleaders, singers and performers; 15 giant character balloons; 800 clowns; 35 novelty or ornament balloons, balloonheads and balloonicles; 24 floats; 10 marching bands; and a slew of celebrity performers.

Rockefeller Tree Lighting
Located just 10 blocks south of the Loews Regency Hotel is the tree the world waits to see lit on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving every year.  Come and see the best performers of our time celebrate this grand moment of the holiday season.
