The Flying V is one of the Southwest's top spots for trying a variety of tequilas. With more than 70 to choose from, its the perfect place to sample blanco, repasado or anejo. And Margaritas? Well, they're our passion. You can taste the sweetness of the desert in the Prickly Pear Margarita, made from the juice of the prickly pear cactus native to the Sonoran Desert. Or, take a more traditional approach with our signature Agave Margarita, sweetened with the nectar of the agave plant, indigenous to Mexico and the Southwest.
You'll find an extensive list of cocktails at the Flying V Lounge, from margaritas and martinis to specialty drinks and mocktails. And now enjoy our new patio, complete with chic lounge furniture, stellar sunset views and glowing fire pits.
Agave Margarita Recipe - Loews Ventana Canyon's Signature Cocktail
1 1/2 oz. Herradura Reposado
1/2 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz. Monin Agave Nectar
Garnish with a Salt Rim and Lime Wedge
Combine all ingredients into mixing glass. Transfer ingredients into tin filled 2/3 full with ice. Shake vigorously 8 to 10 times. Strain mixture over fresh ice into highball glass and add garnish.
