Mission San Diego De Alcala
First of the 21 missions and known as the Mother of the Missions, Mission San Diego de Alcala was founded on July 16, 1769 by Blessed Junipero Serra. It was designated as a Minor Basilica in 1976 by Pope Paul VI. The Mission today is an active Catholic Parish in the Diocese of San Diego. More Info

The Old Globe Theater at Balboa Park
The internationally-acclaimed, Tony® Award-winning Old Globe is one of the most renowned regional theatres in the country, and has stood as San Diego’s flagship arts institution for over 75 years. 
 The Old Globe produces a year-round season of 15 plays and musicals on its three stages, including its highly-regarded Shakespeare festival.

Lamb’s Players Theater - Coronado Village & Downtown San Diego
Lamb’s is one of Southern California’s leading non-profit performing arts organizations producing year-round in two vibrant locations; in the charming island community of Coronado and the Horton Grand Theatre in San Diego's exciting Gaslamp Quarter.  The Coronado Theater is located in the historic Spreckels Building on the main street in Coronado and seats 350 in a European amphitheater style with terrific sightline

The Coronado Playhouse
An intimate, 96-seat cabaret-style theatre with a full service bar. The venue, which opened in 2006 with state of the art equipment, still overlooks beautiful Glorietta Bay. The Playhouse is dedicated to providing quality entertainment with a mix of classic and modern comedies, dramas, and mysteries; dazzling musicals; colorful free Shakespeare; and exciting original works by local authors.
