Cafe Adelaide, part of the Commander's Palace Family of Restaurants, is acclaimed by local and regional food writers as one of the best New Orleans Restaurants, and is a favorite of local residents as well as visitors. Chef Carl Shaubut's Modern Creole Cuisine featuring playful modern Creole cuisine is the cornerstone to "eating, drinking, and carrying on!"  The Swizzle Stick Bar is a nod to the Brennans' beloved aunt, Adelaide Brennan, whose joie de vivre and charming pursuit of the good life is captured in the decor and design.

Start your day with a delectable breakfast dishes including the New Orleans Power Breakfast, Adelaide’s Eggs Benedict, or an Egg Bake with Yukon Gold Potatoes.  Of course, you’ll also find New Orleans beignets and French Market Coffee & Chickory on the menu.

Consistently voted a Great Place for Lunch by the diners of Open Table, don’t miss a noontime visit to Café Adelaide.  Not only can you enjoy the classic New Orleans favorites, seasonal and daily specials, you can also indulge in 25¢ Martinis (limit 3 with purchase of entrée - ‘cause that’s enough).

Weekend Brunch with HAT-ITUDE: 7:00am-1:30pm (Saturday & Sunday)
Adorn yourself in your favorite lid and choose a drink on us - and sorry, baseball caps don’t count (limit on one drink per guest).  Enjoy our specialties like Shrimp Courtbouillon with stone ground grits and Pain Perdue “French Toast Big Easy style” and much more!

Private Parties
Entertaining at Café Adelaide should have the same ambiance and hospitality as that of entertaining in your home. We understand the level of service that our guests expect, especially when they are entertaining.  Café Adelaide features two private dining rooms. The private Turtle Room can accommodate up to 28 guests and the semi-private Wine Room, which is separated from the restaurant by floor to ceiling drapes, can accommodate a maximum of 60 guests – the two rooms can be combined for larger groups.
