Entertainment: Wanda Jackson
A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Jackson is the first female to release a rock and roll song with “Let’s Have A Party” in 1958, topping the charts. She is widely regarded as “The Queen of Rockabilly,” who pioneered new musical ground with the likes of Cash, Lewis, Perkins and Presley in the early years of rock and roll. In addition to her success as a solo artist, she recorded and toured with dozens of celebrated artists over five decades, including every artist in the “million dollar quartet,” Adele, Justin Townes Earle, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris, Buddy Holly, George Jones, and Jack White.
