Team Member Travel Program

Team Member Travel is offered to all active full-time and part-time Team Members (and Loews Corporation employees and directors) after 90 days of continuous employment. Eligible participants are entitled to unlimited use of this benefit with a maximum stay of up to seven consecutive nights at any one location. This benefit applies to standard guest rooms and is offered on a space-available basis. Team Members may use the benefit at any location outside of the hotel or campus in which they work.  Loews Corporation employees and directors may use the benefit at any location.

Eligibility is extended to immediate family members and may be used when traveling with or without the eligible Team Member (or Loews Corporation employee or director). Immediate family members are permitted to use the benefit at any location, including at hotels in which the Team Member works. For purposes of this policy, immediate family is defined as spouse, domestic partner, parents, siblings, and children. Stepparents/siblings/children/grandparents/ in-laws are also included.

When traveling with a group, a second guest room may be reserved, when available, as long as both rooms are occupied by an eligible participant. A maximum of two rooms per night are available at any one location.

Loews Team Member Travel rate is intended only for leisure travel and may not be utilized for any for business purpose.

Rates and Availability

Team Member Travel Rates are established for each hotel based on costs per occupied room. The discount will be available except when the daily occupancy is projected to be 90% or higher or the available rooms set aside for this discount have been reserved.

When available, the discounted rates will be $50, $75, $90, or $150, based on location. Hotel specific rates can be found on the Team Member Travel poster, at www.loewshotels.com/lhteam, or in Human Resources. In addition to the discount, Star Cards may be redeemed for payment of up to 50% of the room rate.

Overnight parking charges will apply and rates can be viewed by selecting a “Destination” on LoewsHotels.com, then clicking on “Hotel Overview” – “About the Hotel.”

Food and Beverage Discount

While utilizing Team Member Travel, all registered guests will also receive discounts on food and beverage, excluding alcohol, at participating Loews Hotels’ outlets. A 50% discount will be offered in full service restaurants, while 20% will be discounted for “counter service” outlets. Upon arrival, a Food and Beverage Benefit card will be issued with a welcome letter identifying the outlets where the discount is available. To receive the discount, present the Food and Beverage Benefit card and your room key to the server when ordering. An automatic gratuity, based on the amount of the check prior to discount, will be added to your check.

Guidelines

While visiting a hotel, eligible participants, as well as their guests, are expected to maintain Loews Hotels’ standards of conduct at all times. Access to areas of the hotel considered “back of the house” is not permitted.

Eligible participants utilizing the benefit are responsible for all room, tax, and incidental charges. Charges incurred must be settled upon checkout.

Misuse of the Team Member Travel program, abuse of the booking process, or falsification of eligibility will result in revocation of this benefit and/or disciplinary action not to exclude termination.

Loews Friends and Family Rate

Team Members (and Loews Corporation employees and directors) can reserve rooms for their friends and extended family members using “Loews Friends and Family Rate.” Reservations can be booked at any time on LoewsHotels.com, using “LH1960” as the promotion code.

Loews Friends and Family Rate can also be used by Team Members (and Loews Corporation employees and directors) and their immediate family when the “Team Member Travel Rate” is not available or more than two rooms per night are requested. Rates are discounted between 10% and 30% and based on availability.

Loews Business Rate

When traveling on business, Team Members shall utilize a Loews Hotel in cities where we are located, unless the location is inconvenient to the place where business is being conducted or clients are being entertained. The “Loews Business Rate” should be booked through Concur.

On average, a discount of 20% off “Loews Best Rate” is provided, based on availability. If the discount is not available, the next best available rates will be displayed.
