Santa Monica Spring Break For the Win

Spring Break in Santa Monica? It's a no-brainer. Here are three reasons why...

Beaches

Santa Monica has three and a half miles of beaches! That’s over three miles of sand, sun and surf. Tackle your beach exploration in two sections on two days with the pier acting as your middle marker. North of the Santa Monica Pier is an ocean bluff, the Palisades, which boasts incredible views of the ocean and city with stairs that give you easy access to the beach when you are ready to get your feet back in the sand. On day two, head south of the pier to see the original Muscle Beach — just steps from your home at Loews Santa Monica. Roll out your towel and watch the gymnastic workouts or feel free to join in!

Shopping

Why shop in Santa Monica? Our answer comes in the form of a question: why not shop in Santa Monica? One-of-a-kind shops, luxury boutiques, and big brands — Santa Monica has it all. The Third Street Promenade is a pedestrian-friendly destination for every kind of shopper. But make sure to shop like a local as well, by hitting up Main Street for California-cool spots like ZJ Boarding House or Mindfulnest, which offers awesome local art and gifts.

Dining

You don’t have to venture far to enjoy the flavors of Santa Monica. Our very own BarBelle mixes up cocktails with local flavors from our Flavor Santa Monica partners El Machete and Angelisco Tequila. But when you are ready to hit the town, there is no shortage of places to go. For breakfast or brunch, stop at Huckleberry Cafe, where you can mix and mingle with the locals over fresh-baked treats. In & Out isn’t the only famous burger joint in Southern California; Father’s Office serves up the Office Burger, which has been called one of the best burgers in the world. Yes, the world!

Are you ready to spring break in Santa Monica now? We thought so.
