ATTEND A FESTIVAL

Atlantans love a festival. With weather as perfect as the kind we have here in spring, can you blame us? Art festivals can be found in nearly every community all season long. The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is the largest art festival in the southeast, and we love the neighborhood flare found at the Inman Park Festival and Chastain Arts Festival. It's also a great time of year for music-lovers, with incredible productions such as the Atlanta Jazz FestivalShaky Knees and Shaky Beats festivals. We even have a festival just to celebrate the glory of local brewery, Sweetwater!

DISCOVER PIEDMONT PARK

Designed by the same architect as New York City’s Central Park, the 189-acre Piedmont Park is one of the city’s most picturesque locations and located only a few short blocks from Loews Atlanta Hotel. If you want to completely bathe in nature, it is the perfect place for a picnic after a morning stroll. With lakes, rolling hills or iconic views of the Midtown skyline as your backdrop, you’ll quickly come to understand why it is nicknamed “Atlanta’s backyard”.

EXPLORE THE ATLANTA BELTLINE

On the opposite side of Piedmont Park, you will find an entrance to the Atlanta BeltLine, a 22-mile redevelopment project connecting 45 neighborhoods with trails, parks, and public art displays. Since motorized vehicles are prohibited, the BeltLine is a popular way to explore the city's neighborhoods on foot or by bike.

DINE AL FRESCO

If your definition of outdoorsy is eating and drinking on patios, boy, do I have good news for you. Atlanta’s dining scene is as diverse as it is developed, and you can find an array of excellent restaurants any direction you turn.

If you’re seeking an option within close proximity to the hotel, you have a vast variety of options. Located right off Piedmont Park, you’ll find Park Tavern and The NookEinstein’s and Tap are both great options as well. Looking for a spot to bring the pup? You can’t beat Henry’s pet-friendly patio.

Drink and dine your way down the BeltLine and stop at 8arm or Ladybird before taking a break at Ponce City Market. Between playing fun carnival games at Nine Mile Station, you'll have the chance to enjoy refreshing cocktails while taking in the best view in the city.

Pack your shoes and get ready for your next adventure. It’s time to have some fun and experience Atlanta in full bloom.
