Playground Magazine: Holiday Cocoa + Cocktails at Loews Hotels

This holiday season, Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando invites travelers to eat, drink, and be merry with Holiday Cocoa + Cocktails. Featuring creative spins on everyone’s favorite holiday libation, the limited-time treats will serve up sweet variations of cocoa for kids and creative cocoa-themed cocktails for adults. The specialty cocktails will be available beginning Sunday, December 1, 2019 through New Year’s Day. The season will be in full swing as the culinary team at each hotel puts its own locally-inspired twist on the holiday classic. Cocoa will be offered in two variations, one for kids as well as one for adults: Inverno Bellissimo (Loews Portofino Bay Hotel) created with hot cocoa, mascarpone, Crème de Noyaux and Borghetti espresso liqueur. Cocoa Loco (Loews Royal Pacific Resort) created with Bacardi coconut rum, Amaretto Disaronno, cocoa powder and ice cream mix. Island Cocoa Freeze (Loews Sapphire Falls Resort) created with Godiva chocolate liqueur, ganache and St. Petersburg Distillery Oak & Palm Rum.

PLAY Tip: Pricing on each cocktail is $14 and the kid-friendly cocoa will be offered complimentary with the purchase of a “spiked” cocoa for adults!
