Loews Hotels & Co Shares Flavorful “Getaways in a Glass” From Hotels Nationwide

Iconic cocktail recipes are part of “Loews at Home” holiday offerings

NEW YORK (November 10, 2020) – Loews Hotels is serving up “Getaways in a Glass” from  properties coast to coast featuring signature cocktail recipes that can be created at home or sipped on property. Each hotel’s recipe is handcrafted locally, with a subtle nod to its destination, aimed to give a little taste of Loews for those dreaming of a getaway.

The special collection of ”Getaways in a Glass” cocktails includes:

  • Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando offers a sun-kissed taste of Florida with the “Golden Dawn,” a cocktail consisting of Bacardi Light Rum, Plantation Pineapple Rum, Triple Sec, mango puree, lime juice, Giffard Orgeat and Angosta Bitters served over ice with a Yuzu gummy dipped in Togarashi.
  • Loews New Orleans Hotel honors the classic French Quarter’s “NOLA Hurricane” through its interpretation, which combines Light Rum, Dark Rum, pineapple juice, fresh orange juice, passion fruit juice, Grenadine and simple syrup, and is topped with an orange slice and Maraschino cherry.
  • Loews Hollywood Hotel’s “Hollywood Hills” includes Pisco, lime juice, Matcha Tea, one egg white, and bitters served in a high ball glass with a mint sprig garnish.
  • Loews Boston Hotel’s “Whiskey Winter” will warm even the coolest of Northeastern cities; the cocktail incorporates Makers Mark, Madeira, simple syrup, a whole egg and freshly ground nutmeg.
  • Loews Ventana Canyon Resort’s “Prickly Pear Margarita” is a long-time regional favorite, inclusive of Herradura Silver Tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, prickly pear syrup and ice, topped with lime zest and fresh lime.
  • Loews Miami Beach Hotel’s “Aperol Fresca” boasts a taste of south Florida’s famed beaches with aperol, guava puree, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, a splash of prosecco, and a garnish of an edible orchid and orange peel.
