Guests to experience a behind-the-scenes look and taste of Nashville’s top-shelf distilleries
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 23, 2013) – Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is offering guests an exclusive glimpse into Nashville’s most notable micro distilleries with its new Whiskey Weekends package.
Featuring never-before-open-to-the-public distilleries Popcorn Sutton’s Tennessee White Whiskey Distillery and SPEAKEasy Spirits (home of Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream® and Collier & McKeel), plus the popular, award-winning Corsair Distillery, Whiskey Weekends offers guests a unique opportunity that even the savviest Nashville natives are unlikely to have experienced.
The package, with rates starting as low as $319, includes a two-night weekend stay in a luxurious room at the newly renovated Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, plus two complimentary libations in Nashville’s newest late-night spot, Mason Bar. On Saturday afternoon, guests will be whisked away on an exclusive distillery excursion where they will get to tour the distilleries with expert distillers and sample local, top-shelf spirits at select locations. Guests will also receive a swag bag filled with mementos from each distillery including t-shirts, a shot glass, treats from Bang Candy Company and more, plus a bottle of whiskey to take home.
“Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is thrilled to offer such a uniquely local and exclusive deal to our guests,” said Tony Phillips, General Manager of Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. “Not only will guests get to experience Nashville’s only local, multi-stop distillery tour, they will get to see whiskey production that is largely unseen by the general public. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience.”
