Loews Coronado Bay Resort Named in USA Today’s 10Best.com Best Pet-Friendly Hotels
San Diego, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2013) – Loews Coronado Bay Resort was ranked #7 in USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, one of just two hotels in California recognized.
“Over the years we’ve established a reputation for welcoming families and their pets from all over the world, and we’re honored to be recognized by USA Today for our pet-friendly services,” said Brian Johnson, the resort’s general manager. “The hotel’s accolades are in large part due to our creative pet amenities, including dog surfing lessons, and of course, the annual Loews Surf Dog Competition, which was able to raise over $20,000 for the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) with our partners from Unleashed by Petco this year.”
The hotel’s latest room package, Furry Kids Eat Free, offers waived pet cleaning fees and complimentary pet entrees from the Loews Loves Pets room service menu along with the purchase of an adult entrée.
Widely acclaimed for welcoming family pets of all breeds and sizes and catering to them with a variety of guest services, the hotel’s Loews Loves Pets program also includes a VIP pet welcome pet amenity (with food and water bowls and place mat, scoop bags and information regarding pet-sitting and local veterinarians), ample space for walking and playing, plush dog/cat beds for the room and gourmet pet room service.
