Enjoy Boston-centric Beverages
Precinct Kitchen + Bar
There was a time in this country when enjoying a cocktail was something folks had to do in secret—behind the hidden doors of an underground speakeasy. Today at Loews Boston, you can take a step back into that not-so-distant past—while enjoying the flavors of the 21st-century—at Precinct Kitchen + Bar.
The bar and abundance of lounge seating (including a coveted spot by the fireplace) shares the warm, den-like ambience of Precinct Kitchen + Bar’s dining space. Whether you like to perch at the bar on a stool topped with cow-hide or recline in a mid-century modern-style booth, there’s a spot here with your name on it.
Something that’s also decidedly modern is the bar’s interpretations of classic cocktails and bar snacks. Sample a few spiced warm nuts or an order of Berkshire Prosciutto Wrapped Dates while you sip a Nor’Easter (bourbon, maple and ginger) or a Harvard (cognac, vermouth and bitters). Prefer a pint or a glass of wine? Precinct serves a range of beers from around the world, including local favorites like Harpoon IPA and Samuel Adams on draft. Our well-rounded wine list features many fine choices available by the bottle or by the glass. If cocktail hour stokes your appetite, Precinct’s bar menu includes a selection of New England cheeses, a Charcuterie Board, and a delicious dry aged beef Precinct Burger served with parmesan truffle fries.
Oh, and by the way—during the warmer months, make sure to step out onto our sidewalk terrace. Here, you can enjoy all the great things about drinking al fresco, with added privacy, since the patio is just below street level.
