Summerfest Cocktail with SelvaRey Rum

Loews Coronado Bay Resort captures the flavors of summer with a uniquely created cocktail in partnership with Bruno Mars’ award-winning SelvaRey Rum. Offering a destination-specific spin on summer, Loews Coronado Bay Resort's signature “Summerfest Cocktail,” pairs SelvaRey with locally sourced ingredients and garnishes.

Coronado Coconut Colada

  • 2 oz. SelvaRay coconut rum 
  • 0.5 lime juice
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz. agave 
  • 1 oz. coconut cream

Mix all ingredients and enjoy.

Loews Coronado Bay Resort offers a “Summerfest Cultural Safari.” The Summerfest Cultural Safari is fully inclusive and is designed for all ages and all abilities, with a majority of the points of interest within a short radius from Loews Coronado Bay Resort

  • San Diego Bay – a natural harbor and deepwater port with monuments, sights, and places like the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, etc.
  • Spreckels Park – The most well-known park in Coronado, Spreckels Park is located in the center of our island. A host of Coronado community events are held here including the Coronado Flower Show & holiday celebrations for children. This park was named after the iconic J.D. Spreckels.
  • Silver Strand State Beach – Here you can enjoy swimming, surfing, boating, kayaking, water-skiing, volleyball, camping, and picnicking. Anglers can fish for perch, corbina, grunion, and yellow-fin croaker. The area also features a wonderful bike path, part of the Bayshore Bikeway that takes riders past the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge and offers great views of the bay and skyline.
