What time is check-in and check-out at the Loews Chicago Hotel?
Check-in time is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. We will do our best to accommodate early arrivals and late check-outs and fees may apply. We cannot guarantee either early or late check-in, but as with all special requests, we will always note it in your reservation.
What is the Loews Chicago Hotel cancellation policy?
Reservations must be canceled by 4 PM local time, 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one-night plus tax fee. Loews Chicago Hotel has fully refundable rooms available to book on our site, which can be canceled up to a few days before check-in. See our cancellation policy for exact terms and conditions. For reservations made through a travel agent or online booking platform, please contact them directly as your reservation will be subject to their terms and conditions.
Are pets allowed at the Loews Chicago Hotel?
Yes, cats and dogs are welcome. We limit the number of pets to two per room. There is a one-time charge of USD $100 per accommodation, per stay. Service animals are exempt from fees. Is there an airport shuttle from Chicago O'Hare International Airport to the Loews Chicago Hotel?
No. We do not offer airport transportation. Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is roughly 26 minutes away. The best modes of transportation to and from the airport are as follows:
- Taxis: ORD- $50/trip MDW-$30/trip
- CTA Lines: ORD (Blue Line) MDW (Orange Line) $2.25/person
- Local transportation is the Metro (Clark/Lake Station) $11/person

What do I need to do to confirm my wedding date?
Once you have selected your wedding date, we will send you an agreement to confirm the date, timing, and space.
Is there a deposit due?
Yes, a 25% deposit of the agreed-upon food and beverage minimum. A payment sliding scale will be discussed in your agreement.
Can I bring in my own wine?
A $25 corkage fee will be applied for every 750 ml bottle of wine.
Does the Loews Chicago Hotel offer special group rates or discounted guest rooms for my guests?
Yes, please inquire with your Catering Manager.
When is the menu tasting?
Menu tastings may be schedule 8-10 weeks prior to your event date.
Am I allowed to bring in outside food?
Outside food may be brought into the hotel for menu items of ethnic origin that we are not able to replicate at the hotel. Please ask your Catering Manager for a list of approved vendors.
How do I coordinate a cake tasting?
We will provide you with our cake vendor's contact information and you can reach out to them directly to schedule a time that works best for you.
Will someone be there to assist during my wedding day?
Your designated Catering Manager will be available on the day of your wedding, but since weddings are very detailed and intricate, a Day of Wedding Coordinator is suggested.
