Chicago Honey Co-Op

This cooperative has three apiaries (bee farms) around town, where honey is harvested and taken to local farmers markets. The bees gather nectar from white sweet clover and basswood in the spring and summer; and in the fall they get nectar from wild aster and goldenrod. Another sweet fact: There are lots of sources of nectar from flowers planted in Chicago's beautiful city parks. It all gives the honey very complex flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. Taste the honey right here in a cocktail at Streeterville Social, and experience it in a relaxing way in a honey-infused treatment at Spa at Loews Chicago.

Just as its name implies, Here is focused on all things local to Chicago. The goal: to make locally sourced and produced food readily available – to better people and the planet. Every Here product supports Midwestern farmers. Special to Loews Chicago Hotel are Here cold-pressed juices, which extract pure juice from Midwestern fruits and veggies. Revolution Brewing

Raise a glass to Illinois’ largest independent craft brewery. Started in 2010, the brewery operates a bustling restaurant in Logan Square (if you have a chance to swing by for Sunday brunch, don’t miss it), and brews nearby in Avondale. Dozens of styles are brought to effervescent life every year, from IPAs to Belgian-style ales to pilsners. Lucky for you here at Loews Chicago, you can experience an exclusive beer created just for the hotel. Called Zephr, it’s a low-ABV Golden Ale that’s mild and crisp, with a delicate hop finish.
