Kids Club Themes & Activities
At Loews Miami Beach, we believe kids can learn while they play. That’s why we’ve curated seven days of themed fun with the help of the Miami Children’s Museum and the Frost Science Museum. See what’s on the schedule and dive in…
Out of this World – Explore the final frontier during this space-themed day where kids create their own Glimmering Galaxy using paint and aluminum foil.
Under the Sea – It’s all about underwater wonder. Explore watercolors and the deep blue ocean using photo paper and oil pastels to make underwater images.
Bugs & Butterflies – A nature-themed day where kids will learn about American artist Georgia O’Keeffe and her flower paintings, using tissue paper as paint to add a textured twist to their own creations.
Mermaids & Pirates – Your first mates will dig deep to uncover buried treasure when they make their own treasure molds during this pirate-themed day.
Backyard Blast – The beauty of South Florida is the theme of this day. Kids will learn about Florida flowers and make nature prints using local flora like Florida Violets and Seagrape.
Artists & Stars – Inspired by Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, kids will create pop art comic strips using fluorescent paint and bubble wrap.
Sun, Sand & Sea – An ocean-themed day where kids will create an ocean mosaic using tile and colorful sand reminiscent of sunlight reflecting off the ocean.
Learn & Play
From video games to cooking and photography classes, who says you can’t learn and play while on vacation?
Spark creativity, make new friends, and learn something new while at our oceanfront resort. Kids can enjoy everything from guided cooking classes and photography classes, in addition to exciting theatrical performances, a pop-up planetarium, and our Rec Room for video game fun.
Smile & Snap in SoBe - Guided Photography Class - Does your little traveler love to take pictures or want to learn how? Our interactive photography class, led by the professional photographers of FocalPoint, will teach kids the basics and take them on a photo adventure.
Kids 4-12 will learn how to compose images and capture that perfect shot with a Polaroid camera. Once the lesson is complete, our experts will take them around the hotel to test their skills. Kids will leave with 10 photos, a certificate of completion, and a $50 print credit toward a family portrait session.
Guided Cooking Classes - Kids can unleash their inner foodie during our Chef guided cooking classes. Children get to don their own apron, make their personal pizza or decorate desserts and gobble it up before graduating with a Cooking Diploma.
