Summerfest by Loews Hotels

Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza

Summerfest by Loews Hotels runs through Labor Day at Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza. The program infuses signature elements of the West End Nashville destination with summer-themed offerings.

SIP: Summerfest Spritz

Named after its creator, bartender Lois Boatman, and inspired by sipping on fresh-squeezed lemonade while boating along the Cumberland River, this citrus-forward cocktail is crafted with a tart lemon-infused vodka balanced with refreshing notes of grapefruit from the Combier Pamplemousse Rose and Fever Tree sparkling pink grapefruit, while fresh lemon garnishes the tall Collins glass.

I’m On A Boat

Created by Lois Boatman, the 30-year bartender at Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza

  • 1.5 oz. Deep Eddy lemon vodka
  • 0.75 oz. Combier Pamplemousse Rose Liquor
  • Top with Fever Tree sparkling grapefruit

Served in etched Collins glass. Garnished with lemon peel and lemon wheels in the cocktail.

Destination-Driven Craft Mocktail

For those looking to embrace a healthier option, all summer long, the Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza mixology team has put equal attention into crafting a host of Summerfest Mocktails like the Nah-douken.

This drink is a non-alcoholic riff on the “Hadouken” specialty cocktail currently offered at Mason Bar. Add 1.5oz SelvaRey rum to the shaker to create the adult version.

  • 2 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1.5 oz. coconut cream
  • 0.75 oz. lime juice
  • 4-5 fresh raspberries
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  • GARNISH: fresh raspberry, basil, pineapple fronds

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Shake it up! Strain into prepared glass over crushed ice.
