Woman at Loews Regency New York Hotel with Shopping
New York City

Our neighborhood on the Upper East Side is home to some of the best shopping in New York City, from luxury boutiques to couture and designer shops and high-end department stores. And it couldn’t be easier to explore them all when you stay with us. From Loews Regency New York‘s convenient location on Park Avenue, you can set out on foot or take advantage of our house car for trips within a 20-block radius*.

We’ve pulled together some of our favorite Manhattan shopping destinations you should add to your must-shop list this holiday season.

Bloomingdale's Holiday Pop-Up at Loews Regency New York on Park Avenue, New York City

Bloomingdale’s

1000 Third Avenue (entrances also on 59th Street and Lexington Avenue)

Just two short blocks from our hotel you’ll find Bloomingdale’s iconic flagship store, an absolute must-shop spot. They have everything you could possibly want or need, all under one roof — even three restaurants! Their departments range from men’s and women’s wear, coats, bags, cosmetics, accessories, shoes, home goods, and even wedding registry items. Pro tip: We recommend visiting on weekday mornings before lunch if you’re looking to avoid the heavier crowds.

Plus, this holiday season, Loews Regency New York is partnering with Bloomingdale’s in exciting ways: guests who book our Shop & Stay package will receive a $50 gift card to use in the store, or at the exclusive Holiday Pop-Up Shop right in our lobby. From November 29 through December 24, you’ll only need to take the elevator down to the lobby to explore a selection of holiday-themed items, awe-inspiring accessories, Bloomingdale’s branded merchandise as well as on-site monogramming of leather gifts by ROYCE New York on select dates.

Bergdorf Goodman, New York City shopping

Bergdorf Goodman

754 5th Avenue
Known as the most high-end of all the New York City department stores, Bergdorf Goodman boasts luxury goods and a beautiful store on Fifth Avenue with eight floors of couture and designer collections, a cafe, restaurant, and salon. Pro tip: Don’t miss their extravagant window displays, often a themed series.

Madison Avenue

Even if you’re not in the market for anything special, strolling along Madison Avenue is a classic experience of its own. Pro tip: We love window shopping all the way from 57th Street to 86th Street, which is home to more than 150 luxury designer boutiques such as Tom Ford, MissoniHermès, and Ralph Lauren.

Fivestory New York City

Fivestory

8 East 69th Street
We love Fivestory, not only for its gorgeous designer pieces but also for the setting itself. Located in a lovely, luxurious townhouse — reason enough to visit — Fivestory features well-known as well as emerging designers; it’s also known for its wonderful accessories selection. Pro tip: Book an appointment to receive personalized styling advice, designer updates or to special order your favorite pieces.

Aquazzura Boutique Madison Avenue New York City

Aquazzurra Boutique

939 Madison Avenue
If you’re searching for your next pair of shoes, look no further than Aquazzurra Boutique. Frequented by stars such as Allison Williams, Alicia Keys and Brie Larsen, Aquazzurra offers Italian luxury footwear wear that is (incredibly) both sexy and comfortable. Fun fact: The interior of this New York City boutique was inspired by a Tuscan duomo (cathedral), in particular, the Santa Maria Novella church in Florence.

Hayward Flagship New York City

Hayward House

131 East 70th Street
Need a new bag to pair with those new heels? Head a few blocks down to Hayward House, located in the beautiful, restored Grosvenor Atterbury Mansion, for the perfect bag with an iconic H logo to complete your look. Fun fact: Designer Marin Hopper is the daughter of late actor-photographer Dennis Hopper and actor-author Brooke Hayward; her brand is a stylish mix of L.A. cool and East Coast high society.
