Red Carpet Worthy Oscar Cocktails
Award season is here again and so are our popular annual Oscar cocktails. Take your Oscar-viewing party up a notch and treat your guests to these red-carpet worthy cocktails crafted by Loews Hollywood Hotel‘s talented team of bartenders in H² Kitchen and Bar.
Hypnotic Tea
Inspired by Get Out
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. single malt whiskey
- 5 blackberries
- 1 1/4 oz. agave
- 3/4 oz. lemon juice
- 5 oz. cold black tea
- mint leaves
Muddle blackberries with agave, lemon juice and mint leaves. Shake with cold black tea and whiskey. Strain into highball glass and add ice. Garnish with lemon wheel.
Allied Champs
Inspired by Dunkirk
Ingredients:
- 4 strawberry slices
- 1 1/2 oz. Grey Goose vodka
- 1 oz. St-Germain Elderflower liqueur
- 1/4 oz. lemon juice
- Champagne (to top)
Muddle strawberries and add vodka, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice. Shake and strain into a champagne flute. Top off with champagne and garnish with strawberry slice.
Fish Out of Water
Inspired by The Shape of Water
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Patron tequila
- 3/4 oz. lime juice
- 3/4 oz. jalapeno syrup
- 1 oz. strawberry puree
- 3 slices cucumber
Muddle strawberry puree with cucumber slices. Add all other remaining ingredients and ice. Shake well and strain into rocks glass garnished with a slice of cucumber.
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Inspired by Lady Bird
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 oz. New Amsterdam vodka
- 1 oz. apricot brandy
- 1/2 oz. pineapple juice
- 3/4 oz. apple pucker
- Dash of orange bitters
- Merlot (to top)
Shake all ingredients together and strain over ice into rocks glass. Add a few splashes of Merlot on top and garnish with an orange wheel.
Dressed to Kill
Inspired by Phantom Thread
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Bombay gin
- 2 oz. mango puree
- 1 1/2 oz. agave
- 1/2 oz. orange juice
- 1/2 oz. lime juice
- 1/2 oz. triple sec.
Shake all ingredients together well and pour into a martini glass.
