Fall in Philly Foodie Events

There are two types of people: those who love fall and can’t wait for all things pumpkin and sweaters; and those who hate summer’s ending and hold on tightly to those final summer-like days. Philly is perfect for pleasing both types with lingering warm days and the start of cool nights this time of year. And what better way to welcome these early fall days than with some exciting food-inspired activities taking place in the City of Brotherly Love?

FEASTIVAL Facebook Page

Feastival

Feastival is a culinary event held annually each fall featuring dozens of delicious Philadelphia restaurants. Talented chefs from each participating restaurant create exclusive dishes for guests to taste as they make their way around the event. Which restaurant are we most excited to see in the lineup? Our very own Bank and Bourbon, of course. We’re happy to announce a sneak peek of what Bank and Bourbon will be serving to our loyal Loews Philly followers – braised lamb with caramelized sauerkraut and potato mousseline. Sounds like a perfect bite for a fall night to us. Feastival takes place Thursday, September 27th from 7–10 PM, but our mouths are watering already!

Restaurant Week

Philadelphia is packed with must-try restaurants. There is no better time to try some new places (or go back to old favorites) than during Restaurant Week. From September 23rd to October 5th, enjoy three-course lunches for $20 or three-course dinners for $35. So pick a restaurant to fuel up at, then hit the streets to check out a show or stop by a museum – you’ll love wandering the city streets during this early fall weather. Our concierge suggests Bank and Bourbon's Restaurant Week lunch or dinner, then embracing a fun fall activity, like relaxing on a waterfront hammock at Spruce Street Harbor Park (before it closes 9/30!).

We hope this kicks off a great fall season of comfort foods in Philly!
