Sunday Funday at the Hollywood Farmer's Market

When Sunday rolls around it's time to grab your favorite reusable shopping bags and head to the Hollywood Farmers Market. Lucky for us, it's just a few minutes walk from Loews Hollywood Hotel! Here's just a few of our favorite vendors to visit:

Sno Con Amor

Sno Con Amor

I can't say that sno cones were the first thing on my list on a Sunday morning but after seeing this beautifully decorated booth and tasting their products, Sno Con Amor had my attention! With unique flavors like Watermelon Basil and Mojito, I couldn't walk away without enjoying one for myself. I opted for Blackberry Lemon but I'll definitely be trying their signature next time — Put the Lime in the Coconut!

Fresh Produce

I was amazed at the selection of fresh produce being sold by local farmers — so many beautiful fruits and veggies! I could have strolled up and down the streets for hours getting ideas for recipes using these fresh ingredients. In fact, our good friend and #FlavorHollywood partner David from Duidough Cafe & Cookie Lab's new storefront is conveniently located at the entrance of the Hollywood Farmer's Market and he often searches the market for local ingredients to test new cookie flavors.

Cobblermania

While contemplating what sort of yummy treat to bring back to the hotel with me, I stumbled across Cobblermania. I'm a sucker for baked goods anyway, but these caught my eye with their adorable heart-shaped centers. Not only are they a beyond cute dessert, they're flavorful, too. Strawberry Peach was absolutely delicious and the perfect size for sharing.

Fabulous Floral

There's just something about fresh flowers that always brightens my day, and the Hollywood Farmers Market was packed with beautiful blooms. It was a wonderful way to start my Sunday to stroll up and down the streets and literally stop and smell the roses. Peonies, hydrangea, sunflowers... what a sweet way to stroll into the week!
