Duidough

Duidough

Open for less than two years, Duidough’s Cookie Lab has taken the Hollywood community by storm. Born and raised in Los Angeles, founder and owner David Vanlochem has turned Duidough into a family business of sorts. Dad serves as CFO, mom helps sourcing ingredients, and his sisters oversee the social media and “taste test” responsibilities. Even David’s Daschund Otis is affectionately known as “Duidog.” The secret to the irresistible cookies and brownies at Duidough is that everything is made by hand and no stand mixers are allowed in the bakery. David personally delivers all the baked goods himself to customers in Hollywood in a big red wagon, with Otis in tow. Guests of Loews Hollywood can find Duidough’s Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf, Chocolate Cream Cheese Swirl Bread, Chocolate Walnut Banana Bread, Gluten Free Brownies, and an exclusive Blondie German Chocolate Cookie at the hotel’s restaurant H2 Kitchen & Bar and grab-and-go Bodega.

A Woman Standing In Front Of A Table

ChocoVivo

ChocoVivo

A culinary tour in Mexico inspired Patricia Tsai to turn a hobby into a business and in 2010, ChocoVivo was born. Falling in love with the whole process of seeing raw cacao beans being ground, Patricia left behind the finance and accounting world to become a chocolate-maker. Meaning “I live chocolate,” ChocoVivo is Los Angeles’ first “bean to bar” chocolate factory. The chocolate is stone-ground on Mexican lava stone, the way Mayans and Aztecs made chocolate over 2000 years ago. Sourcing from a grower in Tabasco, Mexico, ChocoVivo makes dark chocolate using only whole cacao nibs and whole spices. At Loews Hollywood, guests can enjoy ChocoVivo’s Chocolate Mylks, Chocolate Dust, Candied Cacao Beans, Cacao Nibs and a variety of flavored Cacao Butters.

Conway Family Wines

Conway Family Wines

Evolving from a passion project into a family business, Deep Sea Wines by Conway Family Wines was founded in 2007 by siblings Gillian, Tom and John Conway. Deep Sea Wines are sourced from coastal vineyards to reflect the maritime influence of the Pacific Ocean. The cooler Santa Barbara air allows the Deep Sea grapes to ripen over a longer period of time, leading to great balance and bright acidity. Outside of the Deep Sea tasting room on the Santa Barbara Wharf, the Sauvignon Blanc is available exclusively at Loews Hollywood. Deep Sea’s Sauvignon Blanc has tropical, golden notes of lemon, pear, stone fruit and fresh cut hay and has a versatility that allows it to pair well with virtually anything. Gillian and her brothers’ passion for wine, family and the ocean is the foundation that makes Deep Sea Wines a quintessential taste of Southern California.

Cookies, chocolate AND wine?! #FlavorHollywood.... we love you!
