Inspiring Arts at the High Museum

Find your morning inspiration at the High Museum of Art, located steps from Loews Atlanta Hotel. The museum features a variety of exhibits ranging from classical to contemporary. For those fortunate to visit after November 18, you may have the opportunity to tour the Infinity Mirrors exhibit of Yayoi Kusama, one of the twentieth century’s most influential artists, in her most comprehensive exhibition in 20 years. Take a journey through six decades of Kusama’s work with art installations, sculptures, paintings and film excerpts.

Painted Landscapes in Midtown

Spend the day exploring two of the city’s most popular outdoor destinations: Piedmont Park and the Atlanta BeltLine. Piedmont Park is often considered Atlanta’s backyard. Enjoy glassy lake views alongside rolling hills set below a modern Midtown skyline. Beautiful landscapes surround you and there's plenty of people-watching to keep you entertained. Enthusiasts of all kinds can be found enjoying the space on any given day.

The Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail entrance can be found directly off of the park. This 22-mile redevelopment project connects 45 neighborhoods with trails, parks and public art displays. You can spend the afternoon getting your steps in, tasting all the food you see along the way or simply enjoying the views.

Al Fresco Patio Dining

Dining indoors during autumn should be illegal in the south. The combination of perfect weather and an array of options makes it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a culinary experience al fresco. You’ll find restaurants like 8arm and Ladybird before reaching Ponce City Market. Catch the sunset with a refreshing beverage in hand on the rooftop bar at Nine Mile Station while enjoying the best view in the city. Looking for something a bit more casual? Step off the BeltLine at New Realm Brewing for a local brew and towering patios.

If you’re seeking an option within close proximity to the hotel, you have a vast variety of options. Located right off Piedmont Park, you’ll find Park Tavern and The NookEinstein’s and Tap are both great options, as well.

From inspiring arts, outstanding dining and beautiful fall foliage, there’s plenty in Midtown to fall in love with this autumn.
