Montreal

When summer is here at last, I feel the call of the terrace! Montreal is full of amazing spots where you can kick back and relax in the sun with a glass of your favorite refreshment. It wasn’t easy to pick only a few, but we’ve put together a list of our favorite Montreal terraces to explore on your next stay at Loews Hotel Vogue.

Le Sainte-Élisabeth

1412 St-Élisabeth Street

The St Elisabeth terrace is by far one of my favorite summer spots. Immense vines line the walls of the backyard of the bar, which makes the place feel extra welcoming. It is the perfect destination to linger and savor the effervescence of the city while sipping a drink (or two!) in a green paradise.

SAT FoodLab

1201 St-Laurent Boulevard

The rooftop vibe at SAT FoodLab is unlike any other restaurant’s outdoor scene in Montreal. You will discover a cuisine based on local produce and a wine list focused on natural wines. It is definitively a must-visit for your summer trip to Montreal.

Jardin Nelson

407 Place Jacques-Cartier

We couldn’t talk about Montreal’s best terraces without mentioning Le Jardin Nelson, a city institution for more than 30 years. You will be charmed by the backyard and its cozy atmosphere. This heritage gem is the perfect place to enjoy live jazz with friends or loved ones.

Les Enfants Terribles Place Ville-Marie

1 Place Ville-Marie

You’ll feel like you can touch the clouds while taking a drink on one of the highest rooftops in the city. Located on the edge of the Place Ville-Marie, the bar’s view will leave you breathless. Whether you visit for a 5@7 (happy hour, Montreal-style) like no other or to enjoy a delicious meal, you won’t be disappointed.
