New Orleans

There’s no question that New Orleans has a well-earned reputation as an urban playground for foodies, tipplers, music lovers, art enthusiasts and, well, partiers. But when the temperature cools and the days get shorter, New Orleans transforms into a wonderland of twinkling lights and warm Southern traditions.

While there’s certainly no shortage of food, drink, music, art and revelry, the whole city comes together to create more than 85 magical holiday experiences, many of which are free or low-cost and perfect for everyone in the family.

We scoured the options and talked to our own hotel employees about their favorite, can’t-miss holiday events in the city to come up with the Top 5 Holiday Events in New Orleans.
