Park Avenue Pet Perks

Traveling to New York City with the whole crew, furry ones included? All guests are treated like family while staying at Loews Regency New York Hotel, even the four-legged ones. You'll also be happy to discover that we're located in one of the most pet-friendly neighborhoods in all of Manhattan, just steps away from a place dogs adore — Central Park.

Here are some of the ways we welcome your dog and treat them to some of the best pet perks in the city.

Sweet Treats & Doggy Dining

As part of our Loews Loves Pets program, four-legged guests receive a complimentary welcome bag containing a placemat, yummy treats, a water bowl, a silver collar tag, and doggie pick-up bags. While you're here, our Les Clef d’Or concierge team can help arrange dog-walking and pet-sitting services for guests as well. Ordering up room service? Don't forget the pets! Our in-room dining menu has a special Loews Loves Pets section, created by our Executive Chef and under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. Dishes include Chow Hound tenderloin of beef with brown rice, peas and carrots; chicken puppy bites; and locally sourced fish and assorted treats. It's not all about the dogs, either. Food, beds, litter boxes and scratching posts are also available for our visiting feline friends.

Explore the Neighborhood

Central Park

It's one of the best pet attractions in NYC and it's just steps away from our front door. Dogs are allowed off their leash from 6 AM–9 AM, when the park opens, and again from 9 PM–1 AM, when the park closes. Our concierge team can also provide you with dog-walking route maps for exploring the neighborhood.

Sant Ambroeus Café

Enjoy the morning at our coffee and espresso bar with a coveted pet-friendly outdoor seating area. Indulge in a delicious pastry and an iced cappuccino while you and your pup sit back, relax and take a long pause from the hustle and bustle of New York City.

Shopping

Maybe your pup is a bit of a shopaholic? Department stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale's, and Saks Fifth Avenue all allow furry friends to join you while you shop. There is also a Canine Styles Midtown on 63rd Street & Lexington, where you can find high-quality grooming and upscale products to keep your pet looking posh.

However you spend your time in NYC, we understand the importance of having the flexibility to bring your entire family along with you when you travel — and we’re here to make it as comfortable for you as we can.

Please keep in mind, we can only accommodate two pets per room, and require your pet to have up-to-date vaccinations. Please call us at 800-233-2356 or check out our website for more information.

We look forward to welcoming you and your furry friends soon!
