Visit the 200-foot long Chinese dragon, a staple of the festival. Be entertained by performances like plate-spinning, feet-juggling and water-spinning. This festival is known as Philadelphia’s largest block party, and its main focus is on… drum roll, please… FOOD. Feast on homemade sausages, tasty pastas, cannoli, and much more. As you’re sampling various foods, watch players compete in the annual Half Ball Tournament and Grease Pole contest. Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival

Rittenhouse Row is home to some of the best shopping, dining and entertainment in the city, and this festival highlights just that. For one day only, the entire Rittenhouse neighborhood will be transformed into a street fest featuring its cafes, art, fashion, and music. This is the only time of year you will see the bustling Walnut Street closed to vehicular traffic. Wear comfy shoes, there's a lot to see! May 19th. Free entry. 0.5 miles from hotel.

Twelve tall ships will be docked along the Delaware River Waterfront for Sail Philadelphia’s four-day fest. Head to Penn’s Landing, where you can view the ships from land, then hop on deck for self-guided tours through the various ships. If you’re looking for a truly unique experience, purchase tickets for the Sail Away Cruise where you can enjoy either a 90-minute day sail or a 120-minute twilight sail on one of the tall ships. May 24-28. Prices vary. 1.8 miles from hotel.
