Cherry Street Pier Open-Air Market

Cherry Street Pier is partnering with The Food Trust to boast a weekly open-air market. There’s no better way to spend a cool, fall afternoon than grabbing fresh produce and autumn-colored flowers, all while taking in breathtaking views of the Ben Franklin Bridge. You’ll also find unique and creative gifts sold by local retailers setting up shop at the market. —Saturdays from 10 AM–2 PM until 11/16

Fashion District Grand Opening

Philadelphia’s Fashion District opened just in time for fall and winter wardrobe shopping. Taking up three city blocks, the new shopping, dining, entertainment, art and culture destination has tons of places to shop as well as some great places to eat. We’re looking forward to the opening of Oath Pizza, a perfect place for lunch during an afternoon outing of browsing the latest styles.

Mural Arts Month

October is Mural Arts Month, and it's the perfect time to check out some impressive examples here in Philadelphia. We recommend taking a guided tour like the Mural Mile Walking Tour so you can see some of the most beautiful murals and visit some “hidden gem” areas of Philadelphia. Would you rather skip the walking and sit back as you take in the art scene? We recommend the Love Letter Train Tour. See the tour schedules here.
