We can’t think of anything better than starting the day the Mardi Gras way at Loews Royal Pacific Resort with the King Cake Pancakes. This massive plate of deliciousness has fun pancakes, a huge donut, and a lemon and powdered sugar glaze topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Now you’re ready to head to the parks in the Mardi Gras mindset!
At Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, they’re known for their pasta dishes. This time they really said, “Pasta but make it Cajun.” You’ll be able to enjoy our Cajun Jambalaya pasta at Trattoria del Porto. This dish is loaded with shrimp, smoked sausage, chicken, onions, peppers, and mushroom in a Creole sauce, with fettuccine pasta. But don’t let the party on a plate stop there, enjoy the sweet life our favorite way with our Masquerade Cannoli with a mixed berry insalada.
Mardi Gras puts an emphasis on some great jams. Watch some of the biggest names in music, live in concert at Universal Studios and then jam with us in Velvet Bar at Hard Rock Hotel. Enjoy even more live music while you sip on our Mardi Gras-inspired French 75 cocktail and chow down on some N’awlins Po Boy Sliders. Our sliders take a spin on the classic Po’ Boy with smoked andouille sausage, sautéed peppers and onions, Cajun remoulade, and toasted French bread.
