Time to Get Your Hula On at the Wantilan Luau

Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando

Queue the drums and the conch shells because the Wantilan Luau is back at Loews Royal Pacific Resort. It’s your chance to embrace the ‘aloha’ spirit at our festive, family-friendly luau and dinner show. Here’s everything you need to know about our island party …

A Man Holding A Fire

You might be wondering, what is Loews Royal Pacific Resort all about? For starters, this resort is an exotic South Seas paradise where you will get swept away to a place filled with tropical wonders, exotic food and carefree fun. There is a sparkling lagoon-style pool surrounded by a white sand beach and swaying palm trees.

You can leave the rest of the world behind and unwind at this Premier hotel with all the benefits of being a Universal Orlando Resort hotel guest.  At Royal Pacific Resort, this includes free Universal Express Unlimited to skip the regular lines at participating rides and attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure (valid theme park admission required).

Whether you're coming back after a long day in the parks or starting your vacation off right from night one, your Loews Royal Pacific experience isn't complete without a night at the Wantilan Luau.

First, the food and drinks:

A Person Holding A Glass Of Wine

Every luau features a huge spread of food.  Some of our faves include the traditional pit-roasted suckling pig, ahi poke salad, fire-grilled tender beef, lomi lomi chicken salad, and coconut toasted jasmine rice.

For dessert, you must try the Kona Coffee ganache pineapple macadamia tart or the passion fruit crème brûlée.

It all pairs fabulously with the mai tais that come in a souvenir tiki mug (included with premium seating). We’ve got the kids covered too, with menu items they are sure to enjoy like pizza, fruit platters, chicken fingers and more.

For the full menu, visit here.

Next, the show:

A Man And Woman Dancing

Musicians and dancers take guests on a memorable journey through Polynesian culture featuring the elegance and enchantment of Hawaii, the ancient and vibrating pounding of the Nafa drums of Tonga, the mesmerizing hip-shaking dance of Tahiti and the exhilarating and flaming art of the warrior fire dance from Samoa.

You will feel like you’re at a true island party and who knows, you might even get the chance to learn the hula yourself!
