Dry January Mocktail Recipes

January is the perfect time to hit the reset button and put our health and well-being at the forefront. In celebration of Dry January, Loews Hotels has selected some of our favorite mocktail recipes to try at home.

A Glass With A Drink In It

Loews Coral Gables Hotel Bromble

  • 5 blackberries
  • 1 fresh sage leaf
  • .5 oz lime cordial
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz water
  • .5 oz orgeat

Place all ingredients in a shaker. Add ice and shake 20 times. Strain over pebble ice into a rocks glass and garnish with a sage leaf, two blackberries, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel The Dragonrita

  • 2 frozen dragon fruit cubes
  • 1.5 oz pineapple juice
  • .25 oz agave syrup
  • .5 oz lime juice

Add dragon fruit cubes to a shaker and muddle. Add the remaining ingredients and shake. Add ice and shake 10 times. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and a half-salted rim. Garnish with dehydrated pineapple and dehydrated dragon fruit.

  • 1.5 oz cranberry-vanilla shrub
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz demerara syrup
  • Fever Tree ginger beer

Place all ingredients excluding ginger beer into a shaker. Shake and then double strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Top with ginger beer to the rim and garnish with a lime wedge.

  • 1 oz apple cinnamon syrup                                
  • 1 oz cranberry juice                                                                
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • .5 oz lime juice                                                        
  • dried apple slice

Apple cinnamon simple syrup – in a small pot over medium heat, add 6 oz of water, 8-10 oz of demerara sugar, 2-3 cinnamon sticks, and a sliced whole peeled apple. Stir all ingredients until sugar is fully dissolved and let simmer for 20 minutes. Remove syrup from the heat and strain into a glass jar. In a cocktail shaker, add 1 oz of apple cinnamon syrup, 1 oz cranberry juice, 1 oz orange juice, and .5 oz lime juice. Shake vigorously, strain, and serve up. Garnish with a dried apple slice.
