Rent a bicycle at Bike the Greenway for some light exercise and stunning views or pack a picnic and enjoy a day in Centennial Park (located steps from Loews Vanderbilt). While you’re there, be sure to experience a taste of ancient Greece at the Parthenon, the world’s only full-scale reproduction of the famous temple.
Looking for an adventure with a little more zip? Soar through the green hills of Fontanel at Adventureworks Zipline Forest and enjoy Nashville’s plush landscape from a bird’s eye view.
Educational Fun
Expand minds at one of Nashville’s countless educational facilities. See how it all works at the Adventure Science Center, with countless hands-on science displays for the entire family. Learn how your body works at Body Quest, explore the wonders of the universe at Space Chase or have an out-of-body experience at the Virtual Reality installation.
Make art educational and fun at Frist Center for the Visual Arts. The center is home to an ever-changing schedule of exhibitions, having your choice of 30 interactive art-making stations and educational programs.

From musical and visual performances to sports recreation, there’s plenty of entertainment to keep you on the proverbial edge of your seat.
Engage in the history of country music at the Country Music Hall of Fame or learn how a record is made at GRAMMY Museum Gallery located in the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum.
Enjoy one of TIME’s Top 5 children’s theaters in the country — Nashville Children’s Theatre, which provides year-round performances and drama workshops for kids.
For the sports lovers out there, be sure to make it to a Predators hockey game before the end of their season in April, just in time for the Sounds baseball team to begin their season.
