A Night at Universal CityWalk Hollywood

Whether or not your LA travel plans include a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood, you can't go wrong with spending an entertaining evening at Universal CityWalk®. It's adjacent to the theme park so you can drive, take the Metro Red Line or a quick Uber from Loews Hollywood Hotel and quickly find yourself in the center of endless activity and action.

Dining

Even if you and your boo frequently can't decide on what to eat, you're bound to find something you'll both love at CityWalk. Sit down for some casual dining at restaurants like Bubba Gump Shrimp CoHard Rock Cafe Hollywood or their newest addition Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Or, if you're pressed for time to make a movie later in the evening, be sure to visit a quick-service option. You'll find some well-known chains to please any picky eater — as well as a local legend in Pink's Famous Hot Dogs. You'll find the original Pink's not far from Loews Hollywood, but they've conveniently brought one right to CityWalk as well, making it even easier to try their signature hot dogs and hamburgers.

Shopping

Time to be completely honest: be prepared to spend some money. It's nearly impossible to walk by the countless shops around every corner at CityWalk without popping into at least a few. If you're going to splurge and buy something to take home with you, I'd be remiss not to mention the Universal Studio Store. Who can pass up those crazy Minions, a classic Jurassic Park tee, or fresh Homer Simpson-sized sprinkled donut? As a huge Harry Potter fan, I always like to pop in and see what sort of wizarding wardrobe they have available and one of these days I'm *going* to get that stuffed pygmy puff!

Entertainment

To cap off a chilly night (yes, it can get cold, so bring a jacket!) kick back and enjoy some entertainment... you're in the Entertainment Capital of Hollywood, after all. It's always five o'clock somewhere, with rockin' live music at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, but another place we can't pass up is Howl at the Moon. If you've never been to a dueling piano bar, "fun" doesn't even begin to describe the experience. Relive some of your favorite golden oldies and 80s jams and watch the magic unfold as visitors from all backgrounds hit the dance floor.
