Orlando

Vacations are so much more than just time away from home, school and work. They’re a time for families to spend quality time together and make memories. Here at Universal Orlando Resort, enjoying adventure-filled days at our exciting theme parks is only part of the fun. With seven amazing resorts to choose from, there are countless ways to keep the whole family entertained. Parents and children of all ages can let loose with these family-friendly activities.

Pool Time Together

Be sure to pack your swimsuits because you won’t want to miss all the fun at our hotel pools. You can slide your way into a pool, float down a lazy river, and win a hula hoop competition, all in the same day. The littlest members of the family can splash to their heart’s content in the children’s play area. At our pools, you’ll find that the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Parents can relax poolside while the kids grab their pool floats and watch a movie under the stars at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort or at any of our hotels during Dive-In Movies (weather permitting). At Loews Portofino Bay Hotel’s Glow Bash, the whole family can throw on glow-in-the dark accessories and dance the night away poolside. Check with the concierge to find out what activities are happening during your stay.

Bring Out the Kid in Everyone

Families can enjoy a little friendly competition with outdoor games, including bocce ball, volleyball and ping pong. Every hotel also features game rooms filled with classic arcade favorites and the latest video games. Universal’s Aventura Hotel boasts a  virtual reality game room with motion tracking controllers. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is home to Galaxy Bowl, a 10-lane bowling alley where children and parents alike can get in on the ten-pin action (plus, it’s also a full-service restaurant).

Indulge in Food You Will All Love

A family who stays and plays together also eats together, right? If there’s a picky eater in your ranks, have no fear! Many of our hotel restaurants offer a children’s menu with kid-friendly dining options. From the picky eater to the adventurous foodie and everything in between, there’s something on the menu for everyone in the family. If you’re looking for unique dining experiences, The Kitchen at Hard Rock Hotel Orlando lets young chefs participate in “Kids Can Cook” and try their hand at making their own special dish at the Chef’s table. Loews Royal Pacific Resort hosts a Character Breakfast on Saturdays, where families can feast on a breakfast buffet and meet their favorite Universal characters.

Fun for the whole family awaits, so bring everyone together for a vacation they’ll never forget at Universal Orlando Resort!
