LA Neighborhood Guide West Hollywood

If a visit to Los Angeles is in your future, a day in West Hollywood, one of the hottest and most Insta-worthy spots in the city, should definitely be on the agenda. Here are just a few of our favorite things to do in WeHo.

A Cup Of Coffee On A Table

Grab a Coffee

With what feels like a million options to choose from, it's ridiculously easy to find a cute little coffee shop in West Hollywood. However, if you're looking for the ultimate coffee experience — the kind that can make any social influencer jealous — you'll want to schedule a stop at Carrera Cafe. Not only do they have a great drink menu available, but they even have the option to customize your latte foam. Download the Ripples app and choose from a ton of options like "But First Coffee" or "Better Latte Then Never" or select one of their in-house options like the LA Dodgers logo or the infamous Kim Kardashian ugly cry. Either way, you're bound to make your friends green with envy.

A Plate Of Food On A Table

The Butcher, The Baker & The Cappuccino Maker

Let's Do Brunch

Brunch is a staple in LA and there's no shortage of options in WeHo. I stumbled across The Butcher, The Baker & The Cappuccino Maker on Instagram and instantly added it to the top of my "to try" list. I was not disappointed. The Rainbow Latte is a must and, like with any good LA brunch spot, there's an avocado toast on the menu as well. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled and your star radar on because this is one place you're likely to spot a celebrity or two.

Paul Smith Wall

Street Art

If you're looking for an Instagrammable spot to snap a photo for your feed, Melrose Ave. is the place. Park your car at a coffee shop and take a stroll — you're bound to come across a bunch of beautiful art installations to pose in front of. One of the most famous places is the pink wall at Paul Smith Limited, but be prepared to wait your turn; bloggers from all around the world flock to this infamous wall for photo sessions.

Salt & Straw

Ice Cream

Any day sight-seeing in LA should always include a stop for ice cream. If you're in West Hollywood and craving something sweet and cold, any local will direct you to Salt & Straw. With classic flavors like Roasted Strawberry & Toasted White Chocolate, Honey Lavender, and Coffee & Bourbon, you're bound to please your taste buds whatever you choose. I highly recommend checking out one of their Limited Edition Flavors, though — delicious options like Freckled Chocolate Zucchini Bread, Chocolate Date Shake or Vegan Beet Red Velvet Cake. Trust me... you'll be planning your next visit before you've even finished your scoop.

A Street Sign At Sunset

E.P. & L.P. Rooftop Bar

Rooftop Bar

Cap your day in WeHo with a well-deserved drink. In LA, the drinks scene is all about the rooftop bars. One of my favorites is the L.P. Rooftop Bar at E.P. With incredible views of the Hollywood Hills, it's the perfect spot to sit back with a drink in hand and watch the sunset. The menu here boasts some of my favorites, both because they're delicious and because I'm a sucker for a cleverly named cocktail! Might I suggest a "Fresh Spritz of Bel-Air," a "Rock and Roll Mouthwash," or a "Welcome to the Jungle?" My personal favorite is the Piña Horchata! It’s a tasty take on a piña colada but combines vodka, pineapple, horchata, ginger and cinnamon. I wonder if they’ll let me order a whole pitcher next time? Oh, and if you've got an evening to spare, be sure to check out their movie schedule and claim a cozy beanbag chair to enjoy a cinematic classic or recent blockbuster hit.
