Loews Little Legends STEAM Explorers
This summer, we’re introducing an exciting evolution of our Loews Loves Families programming. Rooted in the principles of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), this all-new experience transforms every stay into an adventure of discovery for our youngest guests. Designed to engage curious minds and encourage imaginative thinking, the program offers immersive opportunities to explore, learn, and connect, all within the comfort of your Loews destination.
Two Ways to Discover
The Loews Little Legends STEAM Explorers program brings learning to life through two thoughtfully designed experiences: STEAM Explorer Kits and Discovery Days.
STEAM Explorer Kits
More than a traditional kids’ amenity, our custom-designed Explorer Kits invite young travelers to see the world through a new lens. Each kit is filled with hands-on tools, such as binoculars, a magnifying glass, a compass, and a kaleidoscope, alongside an interactive activity book designed to spark curiosity at every turn.
Whether exploring the hotel grounds or discovering nearby attractions, these kits encourage children to observe, imagine, and engage with their surroundings in a meaningful way.
Discovery Days
Tailored to each destination, Discovery Days bring hands-on learning experiences directly on property, offering unique programming that reflects the spirit of the local community.
Loews Arlington Hotel
In partnership with the Arlington Museum of Art, young guests ages 6–12 are invited to unleash their creativity through complimentary summer art classes. Held every other Saturday from May 23 through September 5, from 9:00–10:00 a.m., these engaging sessions are led by certified AISD art teachers and take place at the hotel’s Kids Club. With intimate class sizes, each child receives personalized guidance as they create their own artwork to take home.
Loews Miami Beach Hotel
At Loews Miami Beach Hotel, discovery meets the ocean’s edge. Through a partnership with the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, the resort’s SoBe Kids Club offers “Science on SoBe” interactive programming inspired by marine life, wildlife, and ocean conservation.
Guests can also explore their creative side through a guided photography experience with FocalPoint. Children ages 4–12 will learn the basics of composition using Polaroid cameras and take home a collection of photos, along with a certificate of completion and a credit toward a future family portrait session.
A Summer of Discovery Awaits
The launch of Loews Little Legends STEAM Explorers reflects our continued commitment to delivering enriching, family-friendly experiences that inspire creativity, connection, and exploration at every stay.
STEAM Explorer Kits will be available at participating Loews Hotels & Co properties through Labor Day, and Discovery Days will take place from June 1 through Labor Day.
