Loews Hotels in Arlington Gives Back to Local Classrooms Through Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Third annual All-Star Golf Tournament brings together community leaders to support teachers and students through DonorsChoose
Loews Hotels in Arlington raised more than $38,000 for DonorsChoose through its third annual All-Star Golf Tournament, held October 12 at Texas Rangers Golf Club. The event brought together sponsors, business partners, golfers and community supporters for a day of friendly competition and fundraising in support of public school teachers and students.
Organized by the Loews Hotels in Arlington Good Neighbor Committee, the annual tournament reflects the hotels’ ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that create meaningful local impact.
Funds raised will support DonorsChoose, a nonprofit organization that connects public school teachers with the resources and classroom projects their students need to thrive. Through the organization, contributions help educators access supplies and learning materials that enhance the classroom experience.
“Giving back to our community is a responsibility we value deeply. We’re proud to bring our partners together to support DonorsChoose and help local teachers create meaningful learning opportunities for their students,” said Brian Johnson, Area Director of the Loews Arlington Hotel Collection.
The tournament’s success was made possible by the generosity of its sponsors, participants, volunteers and community partners, whose support helped make this year’s event the most successful yet. Their contributions underscore the impact local businesses and organizations can make when they come together around a shared commitment to education.
Loews Hotels in Arlington will continue the tradition with the fourth annual All-Star Golf Tournament scheduled for October 11, 2027.
